something i need to say

this very well may be a very offensive post. and maybe even mean.
but, there is something that has been bugging me for a while now, and i guess i feel the need to vent it out of my system.

this little thing that bugs me is simply this and only this;
young girls who idol others and convince themselves they are in love because they are in love with the thought of being in love.

this should not even bug me at all. but it does. very much.
there are some lovely girls out there who, for some reason, are obsessed with other girls.
that sounds creepy;
let me explain.
say i admire someone so much. and just love them.
that's totally cool.
this other way is not. it's admiration times a million and add a dash of creepy.
and there is what you get.
it's even worse when they don't even know them. that is a total fail.
please girls, if you admire a girl or someone for how popular and pretty they are and all you do is talk about them, people catch on, and news flash, it's creepy.

next, they constantly talk about love.
love this. love that. blah blah blah love.
yippie.
they don't know what it is.
i don't even know what it is.
and i am definitely older than you my dear youngen.
these obsessions are a killer for 2 reasons;
1. it is annoying
2. you are setting yourself up for disappointment because you are so obsessed with finding love, and if you don't find it young, you will have your heart broken. and it's only broken by your thoughts.

love is a many splendid thing.
don't rush into it. and worry about it.
the time will come when you will fall madly in love with the person right for you.
don't spend your time obsessing over it. it does you no good.
love is not something you can obtain from thinking about 24/7.
your brain will thank you if you just cool your jets.

oh how rude i am sounding.
it's okay though.
because this is my blog. and this is how i feel.
i apologize if this has been rude BUUUUUT, oh well. i will survive. and so will you.

not too many things bug me to an extent like this.
you can agree or disagree.
either way, i am sticking to my opinions and continue to be annoyed.
i'm not telling a person what to do.
this is all just examples and such.

oh for heavens sakes.
this world is getting crazier by the minute.

found this quote by Jeffrey R holland and it reminded me of your post:)
"I plead with you young women to please be more accepting of yourselves, including your body shape and style, with a little less longing to look like someone else. We are all different. Some are tall, and some are short. Some are round, and some are thin. And almost everyone at some time or other wants to be something they are not! But as one adviser to teenage girls said: “You can’t live your life worrying that the world is staring at you. When you let people’s opinions make you self-conscious you give away your power. … The key to feeling [confident] is to always listen to your inner self—[the real you.]” And in the kingdom of God, the real you is “more precious than rubies."
