priorities

it's recently come to my attention, that i am not invincible. sometimes i do need to ask for help. now, i consider this a hard thing for me to do, because i'm not one to admit i'm weak, or wrong. or that i need help, but sometimes, i realize that it's my only option. and i need to. so as i came to realize this, i decided that i needed to get my life straightened out. set my priorities straight, and set some goals.

1. learn to love myself more, accept the things about me that are werid, don't try to change for anyone. know who i am, and love it.

2. learn to get more in touch with God. pray more. and read my scrips everyday. that's a hard one for me, so i figure it's a good goal.

3. make seminary more important. stop thinking it's a free period and i can do whatever, go and learn and love it.

4. try to love my family more and accept them during the good and the bad.

5. make my music be a real part of me. work harder so i can go to college for music. practice 2 hours a day. and enjoy it.

6. listen to only good music, so i can have the spirit with me more.

7. finish war and peace.

8. study for the ACT and get a 30-32.

9. keep my grades up, remember to do my homework.

10. love life to the fullest and accept challenges with grace and understanding.

sometimes, making lists helpes me set my life out straight.
and i think sometimes we all need a little bit of setting goals and evaluating our lives.
it does wonders to really think about what we want the most. and to actually do it.

i need to learn to ask for help. because it's okay.
in all honesty, sometimes it's the only thing we can do.
"you are doing better than you think you are."
hold on to that if you cant hold on to anything else.
